I graduated from Sonoma State University with a BFA in Sculpture.

I sculpt and paint.Going from one medium to the other allows me more expressive freedom. I am drawn to the human body as well as organic forms in nature. My intent is to capture essence through small gestures, the tilt of the head or twist of the body.

Animals are another delight and inspiration.

As the mother of four grown children, and a previous career in acute care nursing, my focus naturally revolves around the tactile, the organic. My art at times is serious, and at other times fun.

My work is featured in galleries, offices and private residences. My studio is at home in Santa Rosa, California where I share life with my husband, Paul, as well as a dog, two cats and a canary.

My studio is available for classes dealing with grief or loss. Clay is a medium I have used to express feelings when there are no words.
